my ghost family tree

Ghost is an absence of existence and of fading memories, that the living strives to hold onto before that memory disappears completely. People often associates Ghost with Death, because they often ask the same question, as to where do we go when we die? Do we turn into ghosts or simply just disappear into thin air just like the memory of the deceased, slowly being forgotten eating away by time.

“My Ghost Family Tree” is a series of the my deceased family re-produced portraits. Yearning to re-locate and remember long lost memories that are slowly fading away, the project serves as a re-mourning of the ghosts and the good spirits that protect rather than haunt us.
